Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Licensed Purchasing Buyer required.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledgeable in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Amenable to work on a one-year project-based contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
- Assist in negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors.
- Process purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to determine purchasing needs.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Assist in resolving issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies.
- Maintain and update supplier databases and purchase records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth procurement operations.
