Office Engineer, Taguig

1. Review and interpret plans and drawings Ensure that construction is aligned with the projects design and specifications.
2. Prepare technical reports and documentation Including daily progress reports, site inspection reports, and test results.
3. Estimate quantities and costs Assist in quantity take-offs and cost estimates for materials and labor.
4. Support project scheduling Monitor project timelines and ensure activities are completed as per schedule.
5. Coordinate with site engineers Relay technical information and ensure plans are executed properly on-site.
6. Conduct material take-offs and requisitions Identify and request needed construction materials.
7. Check and evaluate subcontractor work Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Job Responsibilities May Include:

• Assisting project engineers and site supervisors.
• Preparing and managing project documents (RFIs, submittals, transmittals).
• Monitoring project progress and preparing reports.
• Coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and clients.
• Supporting procurement and inventory tracking.

Educational Background

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
• Board-licensed (Civil Engineer ).

Work Experience

• 5 years or more of relevant experience in construction projects, office engineering, or project documentation.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Familiarity with construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Basic knowledge in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and project scheduling.
• Understanding of materials submittals, RFI/RFA processes, and as-built documentation.
