Compliance and Legal Officer, Taguig

Permit Acquisition:

• Prepare, process, and follow up on all permits and licenses required for business operations and projects (e.g., DENR, NCIP, LGU, DA, BIR, SEC, DOLE).
• Liaise with government agencies to ensure timely approvals and renewals.
• Ensure compliance with FPIC (Free, Prior, and Informed Consent) processes when working with Indigenous Peoples.
• Corporate Compliance:
• Maintain and update corporate records (SEC, BIR, DTI, mayors permit, etc.).
• Ensure timely submission of all corporate filings and reports.
• Coordinate board meetings, prepare resolutions, and document minutes as needed.

Project Compliance Monitoring:

• Monitor compliance of specific projects with environmental, zoning, and local ordinances.
• Maintain a compliance calendar to avoid penalties and missed deadlines.

Liaison Work:

• Serve as the point of contact for all regulatory and permitting matters.
• Build relationships with key contacts in government offices and local communities.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Keep accurate records of permits, approvals, and correspondence.
• Prepare regular compliance status reports for management.

• Bachelors degree in Legal Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
• At least 25 years of experience in corporate compliance, permits processing, or government liaison work
• Familiarity with SEC, BIR, LGU, DENR, NCIP, FDA, DA, DOLE, and other relevant agencies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Willingness to travel to government offices and project sites as needed
