A Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, ensuring a comfortable and sanitary environment for hotel or resort guests.
This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to high cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing supplies.
Clean and disinfect bathrooms, restock toiletries, and replace used towels.
Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues and report them to the appropriate department.
Ensure compliance with hotel cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Handle guests' requests politely and efficiently.
Properly use and store cleaning equipment and supplies.
Follow health and safety guidelines, including handling hazardous cleaning chemicals safely.
Manage laundry duties such as collecting, washing, drying, and ironing linens when necessary.
Ensure lost and found items are reported and logged correctly.
