Assistant Manager, Davao del Norte

Were looking for a Laboratory Assistant Manager to help oversee laboratory operations, ensure testing accuracy, and support compliance with food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

      Supervise daily laboratory activities including sample testing, documentation, and equipment calibration

      Ensure accuracy and reliability of microbiological, chemical, and physical analyses

      Monitor compliance with internal standards and external certifications (e.g., HACCP, BRC, ISO)

      Support the QA and R&D teams in product development and process validation

      Maintain laboratory records, SOPs, and inventory of reagents and supplies

      Assist in training, mentoring, and performance evaluation of laboratory staff

      Coordinate with QA, Production, and IMS teams for integrated quality initiatives

Qualifications:

      Graduate of BS in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or related technical discipline

      Experience in laboratory supervision or quality assurance in a manufacturing or food industry setting

      Strong knowledge of food safety standards and testing protocols

      Familiarity with ISO 17025, HACCP, cGMP, and other relevant systems

      Excellent documentation, analytical, and team coordination skills
