We are seeking a meticulous and high-integrity Chief Accountant to lead our financial department. You will be responsible for ensuring the financial stability of the hospital by overseeing all accounting operations, from PhilHealth claims reconciliation to BIR tax compliance. The ideal candidate understands that behind every peso is a patients care, requiring a balance of technical precision and ethical responsibility.

• Financial Management & Reporting: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. Prepare comprehensive financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) for the Board of Directors and Hospital Administrator.
• Revenue Cycle Oversight: Monitor the integration between the Hospital Information System (HIS) and the General Ledger. Ensure accurate tracking of PhilHealth and HMO receivables.
• Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Lead the preparation and timely filing of all statutory requirements (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG). Manage the renewal of local business permits specific to Marikina City.
• Inventory & Asset Control: Oversee the accounting of high-value hospital assets, including medical equipment depreciation and the fluctuating inventory of the Pharmacy and Central Supplies.
• Audit Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and ensure all internal controls are robust to prevent financial leakage.
• Budgeting: Assist Department Heads (Nursing, Lab, Radiology) in preparing annual budgets and perform monthly variance analysis.

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accountancy.
• License: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum of 57 years in accounting, with at least 3 years in a hospital or healthcare facility in the Philippines.
• Technical Skills: * Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local HIS like Bizbox).
• Advanced knowledge of Philippine Tax Laws and PhilHealth reimbursement processes.
• Location: Preference will be given to candidates residing in or near Marikina, Pasig, or Rizal for accessibility.

• Analytical Thinking: Ability to spot trends in medical supply costs or patient volume.
• Leadership: Experience managing a team of billing clerks, bookkeepers, and cashiers.
• Ethical Standard: Absolute commitment to financial transparency and data privacy (Data Privacy Act of 2012).
