Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Staff to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. This role requires accuracy, proficiency with numerical data, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.



Key Responsibilities
  • Process daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable and accounts receivable data.
  • Prepare and maintain accounting documents, records, and reports.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Handle billing and invoicing processes accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct routine audits of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports as required by management.
  • Assist with payroll processing and record-keeping, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of salaries and compliance with tax regulations (if applicable).
  • Manage company expense reports and ensure proper documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to the Accounting/Finance Department.



Qualifications and Skills


Required
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of proven experience as an Accounting Staff, Accounting Clerk, or in a similar role. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles (e.g., GAAP/IFRS).
  • Software: Familiarity with accounting software and databases (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, etc.).
  • Personal Attributes:
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred (Optional)
  • Experience in the Construction Industry.
  • Currently pursuing or possessing a professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, or local equivalent).


Salary to commensurate to experience.
