Accounting Specialist, Marikina

The Accounting Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate financial recording, reporting, and compliance across company operations. This role manages accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliation, tax compliance, and supports management in financial decision-making through timely and accurate reports. The Accounting Officer ensures the companys funds are properly monitored, recorded, and utilized in alignment with business objectives.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Handle bank reconciliation for all company accounts.
• Monitor and prepare reports on receivables, payables, and collections.
• Prepare and update SOAs (Statements of Account) for clients when applicable.

• Monitor petty cash usage and ensure proper liquidation and replenishment.
• Oversee payroll preparation, including validating attendance reports from HR/Shop Coordinators.
• Ensure timely release of employee salaries and benefits.

• Prepare and file government-mandated reports such as BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
• Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and maintain accurate documentation for audits.
• Assist in securing business permits, licenses, and renewals as needed.

• Assist in budgeting, cost monitoring, and expense control.
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure alignment of financial and operational data.
• Safeguard the confidentiality and accuracy of company financial information.

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 23 years of experience in general accounting or a similar role.
• Knowledge of Philippine taxation and government compliance requirements.
• Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets; knowledge in accounting software is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
