Forklift Operator, Laguna

Material Handling

Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) in accordance

with manufacturer's guidelines.

Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and delivery vehicles.

Transport pallets, crates, and other goods throughout the warehouse and production areas.

Stack and organize materials in designated storage locations.

Safety Compliance

Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and procedures as per company policy and OSHA guidelines.

Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections and report any maintenance needs.

Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.

Inventory Management

Verify materials, quantities, and product identification before moving and placing stock.

Communicate stock discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors.

Participate in inventory counts as needed.

Teamwork

Coordinate with warehouse associates, truck drivers, and other team members to ensure smooth material flow.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid forklift operator certification.

1+ years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment (experience level can be adjusted based on your requirements).

Proven track record of safe and responsible equipment operation.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Strong spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Physical Demands

This position involves prolonged periods of standing, sitting while operating a forklift, and occasional lifting.

Requires working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
