Chief Medical Technologist, Laguna

The Chief Medical Technologist will oversee the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring that all laboratory procedures are performed accurately and efficiently. This position requires a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and exceptional managerial skills. You will be responsible for supervising the laboratory staff, ensuring quality control, handling complex diagnostic tests, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the laboratory team, delegating tasks and ensuring high-quality laboratory services.
• Perform complex diagnostic tests and analyses across various laboratory departments (Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Clinical Microscopy)
• Maintain and improve laboratory operations, including workflow management and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, lab standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Efficiently process and manage samples while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide oversight for proper documentation, reports, and paperwork.
• Assist with the hiring, training, and evaluation of laboratory staff.
• Mentor and support laboratory staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic results.
• Take initiative in improving operational processes and resolving issues that arise in a fast-paced environment.
