MEDICAL PHYSICIST, Laguna

Calamba Medical Center are hiring for Medical Physicist specializing in cancer care.

Responsibilities

• Radiation Treatment Planning: Collaborating with radiation oncologists for treatment plans for cancer patients.
• Equipment Calibration & QA: Calibrating and performing quality assurance (QA) on linear accelerators (LINACs), brachytherapy equipment, and imaging systems (CT, MRI) to ensure they operate properly and deliver the exact, prescribed dose.
• Patient-Specific QA: Verifying the accuracy of patient treatment plans to ensure that the planned dose distribution is achievable and safe before treatment begins.
• Data Analysis & Modeling: Using computer software to simulate treatment delivery and calculate how radiation interacts with body tissues.

Qualifications:

• Degrees: A Masters (MS) or Doctorate (PhD) in Medical Physics or a related physical science.
• Certification: Board certification of Medical Physics.
