Ophthalmic Nurse, Laguna

• Assist ophthalmologists during eye examinations, diagnostic procedures, and surgeries
• Prepare patients for ophthalmic procedures, including pre-operative assessment and documentation
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterile, properly prepared, and functional before procedures
• Provide intraoperative support by handling instruments, maintaining sterile field, and anticipating surgeons needs
• Monitor patients vital signs before, during, and after surgery
• Administer medications, eye drops, and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Educate patients on pre-operative and post-operative care instructions
• Assist in minor ophthalmic procedures such as cataract surgery, LASIK, and other eye-related interventions
• Maintain accurate patient records, surgical documentation

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Registered Nurse (RN) with valid PRC license.
• With or without experience in ophthalmology or surgical nursing.
• Knowledge of ophthalmic procedures and surgical protocols is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
