Civil Engineer, Laguna

Facilities Management & Maintenance Oversight

• Manage day-to-day facility operations for 9 dental clinic branches.
• Monitor and evaluate maintenance logs to ensure prompt resolution of issues and implementation of preventive maintenance measures.
• Coordinate with branch managers regarding maintenance concerns, scheduling, and staff deployment.
• Assign tasks and supervise maintenance personnel, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Conduct periodic inspections to assess facility condition and maintenance effectiveness.

Construction & Renovation Management

• Lead construction and renovation of new and existing clinics, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality execution.
• Create and manage construction schedules in coordination with the operations timeline.
• Supervise on-site workers, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Oversee the procurement and monitoring of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Handle canvassing, supplier coordination, and quotation requests for materials and labor.

Documentation, Compliance & Permits

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including maintenance logs, project records, SOPs, and memos.
• Draft and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines related to facilities management.
• Liaise with government agencies and local authorities for securing required permits for construction, renovation, and occupancy.
• Coordinate with HR on staffing concerns and ensure compliance with workplace policies.
• Ensure all facilities adhere to health, safety, and legal regulations applicable to dental clinics.

Budgeting & Resource Management

• Collaborate with management in preparing budgets for maintenance and construction activities.
• Track expenditures, manage inventories, and propose cost-effective solutions to optimize resources.
• Recommend vendors, contractors, and service providers based on cost, quality, and reliability.

Reporting & Interdepartmental Coordination

• Submit regular reports to the COO on project status, facility concerns, completed maintenance, and ongoing issues.
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager to ensure facilities support branch operations with minimal disruptions.
• Work with HR on staff allocation, development, and discipline within the maintenance team
