Company Nurse, Laguna

QUALIFICATION:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Must be a Registered Nurse with active License
• Qualified First Aider is an advantage.
• Possess clinical competencies, with good decision-making and high regard for confidentiality.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and have attended training in Occupational Health and Safety (OHNAP).
• Knowledgeable in MS Office application; Has good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provides emergency and palliative care and treatment to all employees within the legal scope of nursing responsibilities in the absence of the company physician.
• Assesses and determines the health status of the employees and coordinates with company physician on critical matters related to employee's medical condition.
• Determines appropriate action such as fit or unfit to work, home isolation, consult a specialist, sent to hospital, etc.
• Renders home/hospital visits to provide necessary care, treatment, and assistance to Employee.
• Attends to medical cases requiring emergency hospital care or treatment.
• Assist the company physician during employee's consultation and medical intervention such as first aid application and dispensing medications.
• Evaluates the result of applicants' Pre-employment Medical Evaluation and provide the status of the evaluation to the Recruitment team.
• Maintains individual medical files of all Associates and ensures their confidentiality.
• Assists in the implementation of Annual Physical Examinations of regular associates.
• Assists associates in availing HMO and dental benefits.
