Housekeeping - Reliever, Laguna

Description

Clean and disinfect patient rooms, surgical areas, emergency rooms, lobbies, offices, restrooms, and other hospital spaces.
Follow infection control procedures, including proper use of cleaning agents and disposal of biohazardous waste.
Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and sanitizers as needed.
Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet extractors, and vacuums.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in accordance with hospital policies.
Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations and ensure compliance with hospital sanitation protocols.
Respond promptly to cleaning requests, especially in high-risk or emergency situations.
Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy at all times.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience, especially in a healthcare environment, is a plus.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and materials.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete tasks independently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Must be able to work on feet for extended periods and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Understanding of infection control and universal precautions is preferred.
