The Assistant Account Manager &Client Activation provides essential administrative, analytical, and activation support to the National Account Manager and Sales Team.
This role coordinates key customer activities, including promotions, new product development (NPD), client activation programs, and reporting to ensure the smooth and efficient management of customer accounts. The position plays a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional client experience through accurate coordination, timely communication, and strong operational execution, supporting both business growth and brand visibility across retail and pharmacy channels.
WHS

Assistant and Support of Account Management
1. Assist category reviews and NPD proposals (sell-in decks, documentation, and planogram inputs); support event uplifts and post-launch tracking.
2.Prepare buyer packs, proposals, JBP trackers, contact reports and meeting minutes; maintain the account activity calendar (listings, promos, retail media, displays, reviews, resets).
3.Manage vendor & new line creation, new account setup, forms, and documentation; ensure customer data integrity and portals hygiene.
4.Coordinate NPD Plan internally and ensure a strong client activation at in-store
5.Support NAM communications with customers; assist event/conference prep and attendance as required.
Analytics, forecasting & performance
1.Provide analytical support and recommendations; prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly account performance reports and variance commentary.
2.Contribute to forecasting (base + uplift) with the Commercial Operation team; compile promo/order reports for supply and customers.
3.Track promotional effectiveness & compliance (NPD distribution, tie-ups) and build post-event analyses.
4.Collect and analyse market insights, client feedback, and competitor activity to guide strategy for the account, collaborate with Brand/Category, Field Sales team.
Promotions & Retail media
1.Assist planning and execution of promotional programs (case deals, booking forms, timelines) and trade term administration (claims, accruals/deflators).
2.Co-ordinate retail media & catalogue requirements with specs, assets and go-live; align to stock and JBP timing.
3.Plan and coordinate POS & Retail Media requirements with the internal team; ensure the execution; brief Field on setup; collect planogram/display compliance photos; report to NAM.
4.Assist in retail growth plan execution (shelf modular/planograms, marketing, in-store activities).
5.Audit customer platforms to ensure the integrity of departments images, copy, attributes, and live promotions; raise/fix gaps with Brand/Category team
6.Maintain promotional planning tools (e.g. Partner Hub) and use digital tools to surface insights and opportunities.

Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in business, marketing, or health (ideal).
- Current C Class Drivers licence (essential).
- Previous experience in an account coordination, client activation, or sales support role.
- Experience in FMCG, retail, or pharmacy environments is highly regarded.
- Exposure to CRM systems, forecasting tools, and retail data platforms.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.

- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and
