Field Applications Engineer, Pampanga

Provides technical support to external customers to ensure the stable operation of purchased products. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and managing site-level communication links, as well as conducting end-user training when required.

Supports both DISCO and iTEC equipment throughout the full lifecyclefrom installation, setup, and qualification to execution of preventive maintenance and major machine recovery.

Contributes ideas and feedback to principals to drive continuous improvement of DISCO and iTEC products, particularly in areas related to equipment and consumables.

Supports material evaluations, including DISCO blades, BG wheels, and other consumables produced by DISCO and iTEC, as well as products from any future principals.

• Performs on-site troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs.
• Identifies and repairs product failures and orders replacement parts as needed.
• Provides on-site installation and customer training.
• Conducts routine maintenance and assists in scheduling preventive maintenance.
• Addresses field service calls and customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Completes required paperwork, including reports, in a timely manner.
• Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve product support strategies.
• Supports management in enhancing systems and processes.
• Offers application solutions and conducts in-house testing.
• Provides technical support and manages customer requirements.
• Coaches R&D engineers and ensures efficient application work.
• Actively participates in company activities.
• Remains flexible in taking on additional project roles as needed.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent technical qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering, or in the physical sciences.
• At least 35 years of experience in the service and maintenance of electronics and semiconductor equipment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with solid analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
• Preferably residing in or near Clark, Pampanga.
