Job Objective

Responsible for leading all kitchen operations, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality dishes. This role oversees menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation while managing kitchen staff, maintaining operational efficiency, and controlling costs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and test new products and recipes, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
• Research and analyze market trends and consumer preferences to guide menu and product offerings.
• Troubleshoot production challenges and optimize kitchen processes for efficiency.
• Create cost-effective recipes and formulations while maintaining high product quality and achieving target margins.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety protocols, and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all product development and kitchen processes.
• Coordinate with marketing, operations, and procurement to align culinary offerings with business goals.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve recipes, processes, and overall kitchen performance.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of experience as a chef or in food production for restaurants
• Degree or certification in culinary arts or a related field is an advantage
• Strong understanding of culinary techniques, food presentation, and menu development
• Creative and passionate about culinary excellence, with strong attention to detail
• Ability to translate culinary concepts into high-quality dishes that delight customers
• Trustworthy and with high values of integrity. No bad record and integrity issues
