MEPFS QC Engineer, Pampanga

Job description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reports directly to the senior MEPFS engineer, engineer project-in-charge and project manager.
• Review mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and sanitary plans (MEPFS), approved shop drawings and technical documents prior to implementation.
• Ensure that all materials delivered on site meet approved specifications and standards and coordinate with project engineers regarding quantity conforming to project requests.
• Conduct inspection and monitor installation of MEPFS systems to ensure proper workmanship & quality.
• Identify non-compliant works during installation and coordinate with project engineers for corrective actions.
• Conduct initial testing of MEPFS installations. Prepare and submit inspection requests and coordinate final inspection and testing with project engineers and consultants.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of quality control reports, checklists and documentation.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering course.
• Preferably Licensed Engineer, but not required.
• With at least 12 years experience in MEFPS works or quality control in construction projects.
• Knowledgeable in construction drawings, technical specifications, and quality inspection procedures.
• Familiar with MEFPS installation standards and testing procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic engineering documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to be assigned in ANY project sites if needed
