Identifying possible flaws in an automobile by using manual and electronic diagnostic procedures.

Explaining mechanical problems and possible solutions to clients.

Planning work and testing procedures using charts, experience, and other organizational methods.

Assures that parts and systems are tested to ensure that they function properly.

Performing basic automobile maintenance, such as oil changes and tire rotations.

Repairing or modifying a car to a clients specifications, if possible.

Maintain vehicle performance and durability by doing periodic maintenance (changing fluids, lubricating components, etc.).

Schedule future maintenance appointments and provide people tips on how to drive safely.

Fix difficulties by repairing or replacing broken or faulty pieces (e.g. leaks)
