Description

Responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment within a warehouse environment. This role involves picking orders based on customer requests or inventory needs, ensuring that items are correctly identified, retrieved, and packed for delivery.
Retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or picking lists (paper or electronic).
Follow specific picking instructions (such as item codes, sizes, or quantities) to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
Use handheld scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and confirm item selection.
Ensure picked items are placed in designated bins or totes for packing or further processing
Prepare picked items for packing by ensuring they are properly organized and ready for shipment.
Verify items for damage or defects and report any issues to the supervisor for resolution.
Help pack or stage items for shipment, ensuring items are securely packaged and ready for transit
