The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling construction materials, products, and services to contractors, developers, architects, engineers, and project owners. The role involves generating new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, providing technical product support, and achieving sales targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction industry.
- Generate sales leads through field visits, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and bid documents.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and technical requirements promptly.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and after-sales support.
- Provide technical information and recommendations regarding construction products and solutions.
- Assist clients in selecting suitable materials and products based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and project teams to ensure proper product application.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities.
- Monitor construction projects, bidding opportunities, and market developments.
- Gather information on competitor products, pricing, and sales strategies.
- Submit regular sales and market activity reports to management.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Update customer databases and project tracking systems.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and follow-up on outstanding accounts.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven sales experience in the construction, building materials, or engineering industry is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong communication and technical skills are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is an advantage.
