HR Specialist/Assistant, San Juan

The HR Assistant supports the Human Resources department in day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. This role helps ensure smooth HR processes, accurate employee records, and a positive employee experience across the organization.

• Assist with recruitment activities such as posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding
• Maintain and update employee records (personal data, attendance, leave, contracts, etc.)
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including document collection and orientation coordination
• Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant employee data (leaves, attendance, new hires, exits)
• Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits
• Help organize training sessions, performance reviews, and employee engagement activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations
• Prepare HR reports and documentation as required
• Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1 - 3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role
• Basic knowledge of HR functions and labor laws
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good organizational and time-management skills
