Description
A Designer at FiberHome is responsible for preparing and designing telecommunications network plans, ensuring that fiber optic infrastructure projects are accurately planned and documented. The role involves creating network layouts, reviewing technical requirements, preparing design drawings, and coordinating with engineering and project teams to support the deployment of telecom facilities.
- Prepare fiber optic network designs and layouts based on project requirements.
- Create and update technical drawings, maps, and as-built plans.
- Conduct site assessments and analyze survey data.
- Ensure designs comply with engineering standards and client specifications.
- Coordinate with project engineers, field teams, and clients regarding design requirements.
- Review and validate network routes, cable paths, and equipment placement.
- Maintain accurate design documentation and project records.
- Support project implementation by providing technical design assistance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Architecture, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of telecommunications and fiber optic networks is an advantage.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, GIS, or other design software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
