Chief Accountant, Palawan

JOB ROLE

• Oversee daily accounting operations, such as managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger, and preparing accurate financial reports like monthly and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• The Chief Accountant is also responsible for ensuring financial compliance with company policies, local regulations, and tax laws, coordinating internal and external audits, and managing and mentoring the accounting team to maintain strong internal controls and safeguard hotel assets.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of BS Accountancy or any business-related course
• Proven experience as Chief Accountant or in a similar role with a minimum of 2 years experience
• Experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of hotel systems (Opera, Sun and Symphony)
• In-depth knowledge of Philippine taxation system and permits and licensing process.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
