Job summary

Supervises the implementation of Architectural Works of the project.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assists the project team in ensuring good housekeeping within the project site.
• Ensures that the companys safety and security program is properly implemented.
• Recommends value engineering or costsaving measures to the Project Manager.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Project Team on technical details of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and sanitary, and fire protection works.
• Supervise the preparation of body plans, wall settingout plans, shop drawings, asbuilt drawings, and other plans and drawings assigned to the department.
• Attend and, when required, conduct technical and plan review meetings.
• Review architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and sanitary, and fire protection plans.
• Identify and report discrepancies or design issues among disciplines to the Project Manager and prepare the necessary clarificatory documents.
• Monitor and follow up on the resolution of discrepancies or design issues in construction drawings.
• Report delays in the resolution of design issues to the Project Manager and prepare followup correspondence to CMT/PMT.
• Report discrepancies between bid plans and For Construction Drawings (FCD).
• Report changes arising from PMT/CMT site instructions and/or PMI.
• Ensure that drawings released for site implementation are accurate, updated, and approved.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly accomplishment reports, as well as weekly productivity reports.
• Prepare and regularly update monitoring charts.
• Issue nonconformance notices to domestic subcontractors for each identified nonconformance.
• Assist the project team in maintaining good housekeeping within the project site.
• Ensure proper implementation of the companys safety and security programs.
• Coordinate with the MEP Coordinator or MEP Engineer regarding the progress of MEP contractors works in relation to architectural works.
• Perform quality assessments of formworks and concreting through daily observation and inspection.
• Perform quality assessments of site works through daily observation, measurement, and inspection.
• Report all nonconformances to the Project Manager.
