Record Keeping
Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
Update ledgers and financial systems with payment details.
Vendor Relations
Communicate with suppliers regarding billing issues or discrepancies.
Resolve disputes and maintain positive working relationships.
Compliance & Controls
Ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
Reporting
Prepare regular reports on accounts payable status, outstanding liabilities, and cash flow impact.
Provide insights to management for financial planning.

Additional Duties

Monitor expense accounts for unusual activity.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, finance) to streamline workflows.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience Level: 13 years of experience in accounting or finance
Skills and Competencies: Proficient in reconciliations, financial analysis, and accounting software
Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
