Cost Accountant, Paranaque

The Accounting Associate is primarily responsible for performing inventory accounting-related duties, including participation in monthly physical inventory, preparation and maintenance of inventory reports and documentation. This position also includes monitoring material prices and movement, as well as billing suppliers and toll manufacturers.

• Enter details of import shipment in the system
• Coordinate physical count schedules for all inventories and supplies
• Participate in actual inventory count with Logistics and Warehouse personnel
• Prepare and post variance reports, monitor feedback, and investigate unresolved deviations; summarize and endorse recommended items for adjustment
• Analyze and record the impact of cut-off transactions and prepare inventory reports
• Identify slow-moving and obsolete stocks and coordinate with concerned departments for action plans
• Compute estimated declared value upon request
• Receive, monitor, and close Manufacturing Order Reports
• Monitor losses of materials and bulk for toll-manufactured products

• Prepare monthly inventory reports for Finished Goods, Work in Process, Raw and Packaging Materials
• Prepare monthly summary of inventory, including slow-moving and obsolete items
• Provide monthly raw and packaging materials consumption report
• Prepare monthly raw and packaging material price monitoring report with comparison to previous years closing price
• Provide monthly summary of importation with costing details
• Prepare monthly schedule of raw and packaging materials for actual product costing
• Update monthly usage and consumption of raw and packaging materials
• Prepare billing invoices for toll manufacturing losses and other related discrepancies
• Update monthly sales volume monitoring
• Prepare weekly inventory updates

• Graduate of BS Accountancy or any Accounting-related four-year course
• At least 2 years of work experience in the same field, preferably in an FMCG company
• Intermediate MS Excel skills

• Maintain and release product packs for company giveaways
• Request and follow up on office supplies for the accounting section
• Process miscellaneous issuance and receipts for item code changes (e.g., Licealiz ID test, FDA requirements)
• Process cancellation of ERIC manufacturing receipts upon receipt of cancellation request forms
• Create item codes for marketing supplies and merchandise in the ERIC system
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Accounting Manager from time to time
• File and maintain all job-related documents
