Warehouse Officer, Paranaque

GENERAL FUNCTION:

Under the direct supervision of the Logistics Head, this position is responsible for overall

management, direction and coordination of distribution.  Ensures that Warehouses are manage

effectively to the best way by Companys standards.  Lead continuous improvement efforts in

the inventory and warehousing functions.

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. WAREHOUSING

1. Supervises the Companys raw materials, in-process and finished goods warehousing

processes and facilities.

2. Plans, implements and evaluates processes for the receiving, storage and preservation

and issuance of raw materials and finished products.

3. Plans, implements and monitors day to day operations for the warehouse, cleanliness

and meet established daily objectives: production rotation (FIFO, FEFO), sanitation,

safety and equipment maintenance, repair and utilization.

4. Ensures that effective operating procedures are used in conducting warehouse

activities.

5. Make recommendations to management regarding staffing, space requirements, safety

procedures, and security of warehouse facilities. 

B. WORK-IN PROCESS/ TOLL MATERIALS TRAFFIC

1. Supervises, plans and implements processes involved in the movement of raw

materials, work-in process and finished goods for in-house and toll manufactured

products.

2. Optimizes inventory control and flow of materials into the respective manufacturing

areas.

C. INVENTORY

1. Supervises the accurate and timely physical counts related to warehouse productivity

and inventory accuracy.

2. Maintains accurate records of inventory in both the Receiving Section and Warehouse.

D. REPORTS

1. Prepares departmental reports and completes required employee administration

(Performance evaluation, leave and overtime scheduling and approvals, time cards,

etc.)

E. SUPERVISION

1. Supervises, coaches and develops subordinates to ensure that the department operates

in an efficient manner and has positive and safe working environment.

2. Ensures that the departments performance meets or exceeds company standards.
