Responsibilities

Prepare and process financial documents such as invoices, receipts, and vouchers
Maintain accurate and updated accounting records and ledgers
Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
Monitor and reconcile bank statements and company accounts
Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities
Ensure proper filing and documentation of all financial transactions
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and summaries
Support budget monitoring and expense tracking
Coordinate with other departments regarding billing, collections, and expenses
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and government regulations
Assist during internal and external audits
Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

A graduate of College Degree(s).
Course work in job costing is recommended.
Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.
Must be highly skilled in use of Excel Spreadsheets.
Must be skilled in use of MS Word and must be a very good writer in order to handle the occasional administrative needs of the department.
Must have very good verbal skills.
Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures.
Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
(knows how to process BIR payment , mandated by the government, etc.)
A minimum of 1 years experience in accounting is require
