Description

The HR Supervisor assists the HR Manager or HR Director in overseeing daily human resources operations. This role involves supervising HR team members, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures, managing key HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, training, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. The HR Supervisor supports business goals by fostering a positive work environment, developing talent, and minimizing employment risks.


Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy and Policy Support

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and updating HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Participate in workforce planning, organizational structure reviews, and HR strategy initiatives.


Recruitment and Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and execute recruitment plans, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume screening, interviewing, background checks, and offer preparation.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and external channels.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation programs.


Training and Employee Development

  • Assist in planning and delivering training programs, workshops, and employee development initiatives.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and support career growth and succession planning.


Performance Management and Compensation

  • Support the implementation of performance evaluation processes, including data collection, feedback, and improvement plans.
  • Participate in compensation and benefits administration, salary surveys, and payroll-related tasks.
  • Manage employee benefits programs and resolve related inquiries.


Employee Relations and HR Operations

  • Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance counseling.
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes such as transfers, promotions, terminations, exit interviews, and personnel records maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.


Team Leadership and Daily Operations

  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate HR staff (e.g., HR Specialists or Coordinators), assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks.
  • Analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover rate, time-to-hire, employee satisfaction) and provide reports with improvement recommendations.


Additional Duties

  • Collaborate with department heads to address staffing needs and HR-related support.
  • Organize employee engagement activities and contribute to company culture initiatives.
  • Perform other HR-related tasks as assigned by the HR Manager/Director.
