Intellflow Management Consulting is urgently seeking a General Accounting Staff to be assigned to one of our clients in Sucat, Paraaque. This is a direct-hire opportunity for candidates with solid accounting experience and the ability to work independently.

Job Summary

The Tax Associate supports tax compliance and general accounting functions by preparing accurate tax filings, maintaining financial records, performing bank reconciliations, and assisting in financial statement preparation. This role ensures compliance with Philippine tax regulations while contributing to accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and file BIR tax returns (VAT, Percentage Tax, Withholding Taxes, Income Tax).
• Prepare and submit alphalists (1604-CF, 1604-E) and related tax reports.
• Issue, validate, and reconcile BIR Form 2307 and tax certificates.
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely payments and compliance.
• Assist in handling BIR audits, assessments, and regulatory inquiries.
• Maintain tax schedules and supporting documents.

General Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Coordination & Process Improvement

• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors on tax and accounting matters.
• Assist in improving accounting and tax processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and Philippine tax regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field.
• At least 13 years of experience in taxation or general accounting.
• Knowledge of Philippine tax laws and BIR compliance requirements.
• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and time-management skills.
