QS Mechanical Engineer, Paranaque

SC Megaworld Construction and Development Corporation is looking for a dedicated QS Mechanical Engineer to join our team at our Paraaque Office!

Responsibilities:

• Extract and measure accurate material quantities from mechanical blueprints and AutoCAD drawings.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for various MEPFS (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Sanitary) systems.
• Create, review, and maintain the projects Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
• Source material prices, request quotations, and negotiate effectively with external suppliers and subcontractors.
• Conduct site visits to verify actual installed mechanical work and evaluate subcontractor billings.
• Compute and assess the financial impact of design changes or mid-project Change Orders.
• Work closely with site engineers and project managers to handle multiple tasks and ensure the project stays within budget in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• PRC Licensed Mechanical Engineer (RME)
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
• Experience in construction, engineering, or MEPFS contracting companies is preferred but not required
• Proficient in MS Excel and able to read mechanical plans and drawings
• Proficient in relevant QS/estimation software and tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Currently living in National Capital Region or nearby area
• Willing to be assigned in Paraaque City
• Willing to start ASAP
