Legal Secretary, Paranaque

Prepare, review, and format legal and compliance-related documents, including contracts, memoranda, regulatory submissions, and internal reports. Maintain and organize legal and compliance files, ensuring proper documentation control, version management, and confidentiality. Monitor compliance-related timelines, regulatory deadlines, and filing requirements, and follow up with concerned parties as needed. Coordinate scheduling of compliance meetings, internal reviews, interviews, and discussions with legal teams and external counsel. Serve as a point of coordination with regulatory bodies, external counsel, and internal departments for document requests and compliance-related communications. Assist in gathering, compiling, and organizing data and records required for audits, investigations, or regulatory inquiries. Support billing, invoicing, and tracking of legal and compliance-related expenses in coordination with external counsel. Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal procedures, data privacy standards, and record-keeping requirements. Perform other administrative and compliance support tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in legal, compliance, or regulatory environments. Proven experience as a legal administrative assistant, compliance assistant, legal secretary, or in a similar role. Working knowledge of legal and compliance terminology, processes, and documentation requirements. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal or compliance management systems.
