Certified Public Accountant, Paranaque

About the role

We are a growing organization committed to strong financial governance, regulatory compliance, and accuracy. We are seeking a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to support the Finance Manager in overseeing accounting operations, ensuring full compliance with BIR regulations, and contributing to the organizations overall financial stability and strategic direction.

What you'll be doing

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Maintain accurate and timely general ledger accounting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, intercompany)
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with IFRS / IFRS-based standards

Audit & Compliance Support

• Prepare audit schedules, working papers, and supporting documentation
• Assist internal and external auditors during audits
• Support internal controls and process improvements
• Ensure accounting records are audit-ready at all times

Tax & Regulatory Support (as applicable)

• Assist with tax calculations and filings (data preparation and review support)
• Coordinate with external tax advisors or accountants
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with applicable regulations

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare management reports and financial summaries
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Provide insights to support business decision-making

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• A valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in a similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Proficiency in using financial software and spreadsheet applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
