  • Customer engagement: Building rapport with customers by understanding their needs and providing information and support. 
  • Product knowledge: Staying up-to-date on product features and benefits to answer questions and make recommendations. 
  • Record keeping: Maintaining accurate customer information and sales activity logs in a database or CRM system. 
  • Achieving targets: Meeting or exceeding daily, monthly, or quarterly sales quotas.
