Shift Lead, Paranaque

This position is responsible for leading, coordinating and monitoring production operation in in-house and toll manufacturers activities in the objective of producing products within quality standards, meeting production targets, optimizing resources, and ensuring plant safety and Good Manufacturing Practices conformance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A.   DIRECT OPERATIONAL FUNCTIONS (IN-HOUSE)

1. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the production department and ensuring efficient workflow and meeting production target.
2. Implements and enforces safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
3. Regularly coordinates, provides timely and clear instructions to all units in the production floor for the proper implementation of plans, strategies, programs and policies.
4. Provides immediate feedback to the Production Officer/Manufacturing Head on any concerns regarding the implementation of directives by promptly reporting issues.
5. Recommends methods and implements them upon approval of the Manufacturing Head to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the production floor in compliance with GMP requirements and other government regulated policies, which includes but is not limited to safety monitoring, production sanitation/hygiene and cleanliness in the production floor.
6. Follows-through of all reported machine or equipment related problems to Engineering Section and ensures proper implementation on the use and maintenance at the operator level.
7. Ensures utilization of resources (manpower, machine and materials) for continuous production operations at prescribed optimal levels.
8. Ensures complete, reconciled, accurate and timely Production reports for submission to Accounting Department/Management needed for managements review and decision making. These reports may include performance, wastage or loss allowance reports.
9. Documents and implements all related processes and procedures.
10. Evaluates skills of workers and assigns appropriate work or trains them based on the training plan.
11. Issues Performance Notes to commend employees for both an exceptional job done and to coach employees who fall short of the Companys standards on performance or any violation of policies and regulations noted.
12. Conducts detailed, complete and proper turnover to the next shift lead.
13. Takes over operational responsibilities in the absence of the Production Assistant.
14. Carries out related tasks as may be assigned.

B.   OTHERS

1. Conducts further orientation to newly hired line employees.
2. Encourages the group to be punctual in all company programs and activities.
3. Accurately disseminates information on official announcements, new policies and programs.

• At least college level or graduate of any 2-yrs technical course
• 3 to 5years of experience
• Strong work ethic and integrity
