Finance & Audit Officer, Paranaque

Finance & Audit Officer ensures that all financial and accounting operations within an accounting department run smoothly. They oversee the work of junior accounting staffs.

• Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, inventory and bank reconciliations
• Supervise the sales audit and inventory count
• Manage month-end and year-end closing
• Participate in regular tax audits and payroll
• Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues
• Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department
• Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records
• Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives
• Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with companys targets

• Proven work experience as an Accounting Officer; at least 3 years of extensive experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience with accounting software, preferably MS Dynamic NAV or any other ERP System.
• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations
• Knowledgeable in inventory and retail accounting.
• Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data
• Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to process large amounts of numerical data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably BS in Accountancy
