Job Summary

A Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring that staff perform efficiently, customer service standards are met, and business goals are achieved. They act as the point of contact between employees and upper management during their shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate team members during assigned shifts
• Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer complaints or issues
• Assign tasks and monitor employee performance
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational standards
• Open and close the business (cash handling, reports, security checks)
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Handle cash registers, transactions, and daily financial reports
