- Canvass of BOM for bidding and for costing
- Assist sales in preparing for bidding from costing to closing of bid docs.
- Coordinate with technical (TOR TEAM) with the compliance of offered equipment.
- Canvassing of purchase requests.
- Short listing of credible and accredited suppliers.
- Negotiate/haggle of prices with accredited suppliers.
- Negotiate for better terms.
- Improve/add to suppliers database
- Report/coordinate with the senior purchasing officer/manager regarding purchasing matters
- Assist Purchaser in follow ups of delivery of goods based on order from suppliers
- Answering phone calls
- Encoding files and documents as may be assigned
- Preparation of documents and reports as may be assigned
- Assist the accounting department as may be deemed necessary by the accounting manager
