A food attendant, also known as a food and beverage attendant, is responsible for providing excellent customer service in dining establishments.

Key duties include greeting and seating guests, taking accurate food and beverage orders, serving items promptly, and maintaining cleanliness in dining and service areas. They also handle payments, assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas, restock supplies, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

To excel in this role, a food attendant should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a positive attitude. While previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred, it is not always required, as training may be provided. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is often necessary.
