Description
  • Functionally reporting to the Corporate Safety Department and administratively reporting to the Project Manager/Project In-Charge.
  • Monitor the implementation of the OSH Procedures & Safety Plan at project site.
  • Monitor project site compliance with standards and procedures promulgated by the
  • Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Bureau of Working Conditions, Health and Safety Division.
  • Conduct Safety Educational training / orientation for all levels at the project site prior to work.
  • Conduct accident investigation, analyze and formulate recommendation for corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections in the work place to ensure protection of the workers and environment.
  • Conduct periodic safety walkthrough with the PM / PIC.
  • Conduct daily exercises and general toolbox meetings.
  • Issue stop work order should he found the work potential to hazard condition or imminent danger.
  • Monitors installation of safety protection.
  • Review and recommends approval of all work permits prior to submission to client and proceeding with the activity.
  • Complies with the proper operating procedures of safety and health standards and regulations.
  • Supports Environmental Management System with respect to their job.
  • Adhere to Policies/Procedure, Employee Code of Ethics and Conduct and Corporate Governance.
  • Protects intellectual property, company proprietary and confidential information
