About the role

Tobey Construction And Maintenance Corporation is seeking a capable Project In-Charge to join our team in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. As a full-time Project In-Charge, you will play a vital role in overseeing the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

1. Effectively plan, coordinate and monitor all aspects of assigned construction projects
2. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective communication
3. Manage project budgets, costs, and resources to optimise efficiency and profitability
4. Oversee and direct the work of project teams, including engineers, technicians, and labourers
5. Identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement appropriate contingency plans
6. Ensure projects comply with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
7. Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior management

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Project In-Charge or Project Management role within the construction industry
2. Candidates must have experience working on any type of construction projects, including commercial, residential, or fit-out developments
3. Demonstrated expertise in project planning, scheduling, and cost control
4. Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
6. Proficient in using project management software and other relevant digital tools
7. Experience with any professional project management software is required for effective project coordination and tracking
8. Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
9. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
10. Qualified candidates must hold a degree in engineering or architecture disciplines relevant to construction management
11. This position is specifically for a Project In-Charge role with responsibility for overseeing construction project delivery
