Alfresco Content Management Specialist

Job Summary:

The Alfresco Content Management Specialist is responsible for aligning Alfresco content management solutions with business strategies, supporting complex business processes, and ensuring system optimization, security, and compliance. This role serves as a bridge between business units and IT, providing technical solutions and maintaining the integrity and performance of Alfresco repositories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders across business functions to align Alfresco content management solutions with organizational strategies
• Gather requirements from business units and translate them into technical solutions within the Alfresco platform
• Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support system implementation decisions
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of content management functions to resolve problems and identify improvement opportunities
• Support highly complex business processes through Alfresco platform optimization
• Participate in multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
• Serve as a liaison between business users and IT to provide technical solutions that meet user needs
• Administer and maintain Alfresco repositories, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational policies
• Monitor and troubleshoot Alfresco system performance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality
• Configure workflows, permissions, and access controls within Alfresco to meet business requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience with Alfresco platform optimization, including repository management, workflow configuration, and content retrieval
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for hosting and managing services
• Experience supporting shared infrastructure components hosted on-premises and in vendor PaaS solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with business and technical contacts
• Experience in incident and problem management
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to enterprise content management
• Experience with Alfresco integrations, including APIs and third-party tools
