Job Overview
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily store operations and leading the store team to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable performance. This role is vital in upholding excellent customer service, maintaining product quality, maximizing sales, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership and Management
- Supervise, motivate, and support team members during assigned shifts.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure compliance with Llao Llaos operational and service standards.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
- Ensure staff adherence to company policies, procedures, product knowledge, hygiene, and safety regulations.
2. Quality Control and Store Standards
- Ensure all products and services meet company quality standards.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and overall visual appeal.
- Ensure yogurt and toppings are properly prepared, displayed, and stored.
- Monitor product freshness and strictly follow food safety guidelines.
3. Customer Service Excellence
- Deliver a consistently positive and satisfying customer experience.
- Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Ensure team members provide friendly, efficient, and attentive service.
- Maintain a welcoming, clean, and customer-focused store environment.
4. Order Taking and Service Accuracy
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate special requests or dietary restrictions clearly to the team.
5. Cash Handling and POS Operations
- Process transactions accurately using cash, credit card, and mobile payment methods.
- Provide correct change and ensure secure cash handling.
- Operate the POS system efficiently and accurately.
6. Cash and Sales Reconciliation
- Reconcile POS transactions at the end of each shift.
- Ensure sales totals match cash, card, and other payment records.
- Maintain accuracy and accountability in all cash-handling activities.
7. Sales and Revenue Growth
- Implement strategies to increase sales and improve store performance.
- Ensure efficient operations to support profitability goals.
8. Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
- Track product usage and coordinate inventory needs with the Area Manager.
- Follow inventory control procedures strictly.
- Ensure inventory reports are accurate and free from discrepancies.
9. Financial and Operational Reporting
- Reconcile daily sales and prepare accurate sales summaries.
- Complete inventory and financial reports with proper documentation.
- Maintain organized and accurate records.
10. Reporting to Management
- Submit regular reports on sales performance, inventory status, and staff performance.
11. Uniform and Grooming Standards
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times.
- Wear the prescribed uniform and nameplate while on duty in accordance with company standards.
