Procurement Officer, Mandaluyong

The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing goods and services required by the organization. The role ensures cost-effective procurement, timely delivery, supplier quality, and compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.

Procurement Duties & Responsibilities

1. Supplier Sourcing        

• Identify and evaluate external suppliers and service providers     
• Find cost-effective and reliable outsourcing partners  
• Maintain an approved supplier list

2. Vendor Evaluation & Selection

• Request and compare quotations (RFQ/RFP)      
• Assess suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and capability
• Conduct basic supplier due diligence

3. Contract & Negotiation

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels
• Support contract preparation and agreement finalization
• Ensure outsourcing contracts meet company requirements

4. Supplier Performance Monitoring 

• Track supplier performance (quality, delivery, service)
• Address performance issues and follow up on corrective actions        
• Support supplier relationship management

5. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise between internal teams and outsourced suppliers
• Resolve issues related to outsourced services or deliveries
• Provide procurement status updates to management

Required Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelors degree in:

• Business Administration or related field
• At least 1 year of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (fresh graduates may be considered)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Attention to detail and good documentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
