CPA Full Stack Developer

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CPA Full Stack Developer who combines strong accounting expertise with advanced software development capabilities. The ideal candidate is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with experience developing and maintaining financial, accounting, payroll, ERP, and business management systems. This role bridges finance and technology, ensuring that software solutions comply with accounting standards, tax regulations, and business requirements while delivering scalable and secure applications.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Systems Development

• Design, develop, and maintain accounting, finance, payroll, ERP, and business management applications.
• Build and enhance modules for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.
• Develop automated workflows for financial transactions, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.
• Implement tax computation and reporting functionalities in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Create dashboards, analytics, and business intelligence reports for financial decision-making.

Full Stack Development

• Develop responsive web and mobile applications using modern front-end frameworks.
• Build secure APIs, backend services, and database architectures.
• Integrate accounting systems with banks, payment gateways, government platforms, and third-party applications.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Perform testing, debugging, and deployment of software solutions.

Accounting & Compliance

• Ensure software complies with accounting standards, financial reporting requirements, and taxation regulations.
• Translate accounting processes and business requirements into technical specifications.
• Support audits by ensuring system-generated reports are accurate and reliable.
• Maintain data integrity, security, and internal controls within financial systems.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements and recommend system updates.

Data & Reporting

• Design and manage financial databases and data warehouses.
• Develop custom reports and financial analytics tools.
• Create automated month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting processes.
• Support management reporting and performance analysis.

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with finance teams, auditors, business users, and software developers.
• Gather requirements and recommend process improvements through technology solutions.
• Lead system implementation, migration, and enhancement projects.
• Prepare technical and functional documentation.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
• Additional certifications in ERP, cloud technologies, or software development are an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience.
• Minimum 3 years of software development or ERP system development experience.
• Experience with accounting systems, ERP platforms, payroll systems, or financial software solutions.
• Proven experience in system implementation and business process automation.
