General Accounting Associate, Quezon City

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducts compliance, assurance specifically process review, tax, accounting, and financials across the branches.
• Evaluate operating guidelines with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepares audit reports including executive summary and rating of the adequacy of control and risk management.
• Presents findings and practical value-added recommendations to improve risk management practices, effectiveness, and efficiency of operations.
• Assist in the investigation of issues or matters outside of the regular audit plan and perform any other duties relating to audit as assigned by executive management.
• Manages multiple projects/activities, meets deadlines while ensuring quality audit.
• Collaborates with other audit team members and the finance team to perform audit assignments and ad hoc reviews.
• Reviews completed files to ensure the quality of work completed, quality of audit issues and recommendations, and adherence to department standards.
• Does bank reconciliation
• Conducts and schedules periodic cycle counts & inventory audits across the companys branches.
• Checks and audits check vouchers to ensure the accuracy of reports including cost centers tagging, cost recognition.
• Does tax filing and compliance.
• Assume the work of any absent member of the finance and accounting team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferably with at least 3 years of experience.
• Graduated with BS Accountancy.
• Experience in SAP is an advantage.
• Have basic knowledge in General Accounting.
• Have basic knowledge in Taxation.
• With at least 1-year experience in general accounting or audit
• Must be proficient in MS Excel.
• Agile and has great attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong listening and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
