Description

The Automotive Solutions Sales role is a consultative, technical sales position designed for individuals with a strong automotive, fleet, or technical background who are ready to take on a customer-facing commercial role.


Responsibilities


  • Customer Discovery & Solution Design
  • Conduct on-site and virtual assessments of customer vehicles and fleet operations
  • Identify operational pain points related to vehicle tracking, driver behavior, fuel usage, and asset visibility
  • Recommend appropriate GPS hardware, sensors, dashcams, and software configurations based on vehicle type and use case
  • Technical & Commercial Sales Execution
  • Present end-to-end solutions covering hardware, installation, and software capabilities
  • Explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical decision-makers
  • Advise customers on installation feasibility, system limitations, and operational impact
  • Coordinate closely with installation, operations, and after-sales teams to ensure accurate commitments
  • Account Ownership & Growth
  • Own assigned accounts from initial engagement through deployment handover
  • Support renewals, solution expansion, and cross-selling opportunities
  • Maintain accurate activity records, customer notes, and pipeline updates using CRM tools


Job Requirements


EDUCATION

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Information Technology, Automotive Technology, or related field
  • Technical certifications in GPS tracking, telematics, fleet management, automotive electronics, or IoT solutions are an advantage


EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in B2B sales, account management, or customer-facing roles
  • Exposure to fleet management, logistics, or transport operations
  • Familiarity with dashboards, SaaS platforms, or data-driven systems
  • Experience using CRM or sales tracking tools


Note: Prior sales experience is an advantage but not required. Candidates with strong automotive or technical expertise and customer-facing confidence are strongly encouraged to apply.


KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong automotive or technical background with experience in one or more of the following:
  • Automotive repair, diagnostics, or service advising
  • GPS, telematics, or vehicle electronics installation
  • Fleet operations, dispatch, or transport supervision
  • Technical support for hardware-based or vehicle-mounted systems
  • Solid understanding of vehicles, wiring, and installation constraints
  • Logical, structured problem-solving approach
  • Comfortable engaging customers in both technical and operational discussions

SKILLS

  • Strong communication and presentation skills 
  • Solution selling and consultative sales ability 
  • Customer relationship management and negotiation skills 
  • Ability to conduct vehicle and fleet assessments 
  • CRM and sales pipeline management 
  • Basic technical troubleshooting and product demonstration skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools 


ABILITIES

  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
  • Ability to prepare proposals, quotations, and technical recommendations
  • Ability to travel for client visits, field inspections, and presentations

MONDAYS - SATURDAY

8AM - 5 PM
