The HR Lead oversees all facets of HR operations, with a primary focus on compensation and benefits (C&B), labor and union relations, timekeeping, and 201 file management. The role ensures accurate documentation, timely updating of contracts, job descriptions, and C&B records, and full compliance with DOLE requirements.
Success in this position is measured by the effective organization of employee files, consistent implementation of fair labor policies and due process, and the smooth execution of C&B programs that align with company standards and legal mandates.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and monitor daily timekeeping functions, including attendance monitoring, leave tracking, addressing employee concerns related to timekeeping or payroll computation concerns, and coordination with payroll processors to ensure accurate payroll computation
- Manage overall compensation and benefits (C&B) administration, including processing of government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), coordination of ATM payroll card requests and replacements, and addressing all employee inquiries related to C&B
- Maintain and update 201 files and other employee records, ensuring proper documentation, confidentiality, and organized filing
- Serve as point of contact (POC) for HRIS-related projects and tasks, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate system updates and smooth HRIS operations
- Serve as POC for labor union-related concerns, projects, and tasks, ensuring timely communication and resolution in coordination with management
- Lead the resolution of employee concerns and ensure timely delivery of employee services, specifically for C&B, labor and union relations, and 201 filing
- Lead labor relations processes, including preparation and issuance of Notices to Explain (NTEs), scheduling and conducting investigations, documenting proceedings, issuing Notices of Decision (NODs), and addressing DOLE, NLRC, or SENA-related tasks and concerns
- Support recruitment activities such as posting job advertisements, screening applicants, conducting initial interviews, and scheduling interviews with hiring managers
- Assist in the facilitation of onboarding, orientation, and training sessions, including preparation of materials, attendance, and logistics
- Support employee engagement activities by assisting in planning, organizing, and executing company events, recognition programs, and other initiatives that promote employee morale and a positive work environment
- Prepare HR documents such as employment certifications, memos, clearance forms, and other related HR paperwork
- Support in maintaining HR databases and digital records for accuracy and compliance
- Mentor and guide HR Staff, HR Administrator, and HR Officer, providing direction, coaching, and support to ensure consistent and effective HR operations
